It's a lot of work making music. Coming up with ideas, writing, recording, producing, mixing, changing, fixing, mastering. It takes either a lot of time, or a lot of money, and I don't have either. So I decided to just post a bunch of songs up on SoundCloud and see if I can get some idea of what people like and don't like. Dark horse candidate so far is “Like An Animal” with over 100 listens in one day. I literally wrote and recorded that track in a few hours, one take on everything. And it's not even close to my own favorite. Weird how this works.
Anyway, please go listen and let me know:
- What tracks do you actually like?
- Which ones are kinda ok but could use some changes?
- Which ones should be buried in a coffee can out in the pasture and never heard again?
